Care
Burning Candle
Before lighting, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch. This prevents excessive smoke and promotes an even burn
Place your candle away from fans, open windows, or air vents to avoid uneven burning and excessive soot
Allow the wax to melt to the edges of the candle before extinguishing it, especially on the first burn. This helps prevent tunneling and maximizes the candle’s lifespan
Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame, or gently blow it out without splashing wax. Avoid touching or moving the candle until the wax has solidified.
Keep candles out of reach of children and pets and avoid placing them near flammable objects
Once the wax is nearly gone, discontinue use to prevent heat damage to the surface below
Stoneware
Hand wash stoneware with warm water and mild dish soap. Avoid abrasive sponges, as they can scratch the surface.
Allow the stoneware to air dry completely before storing to prevent moisture buildup, which could weaken the material over time.
Do not place stoneware directly from the fridge into a hot oven, as rapid temperature changes can cause cracking. Let it come to room temperature first.
Store in a stable environment where it won’t be exposed to extreme temperature fluctuations.
